As of May 4th 2020, there was a HUGE SPIKE in the coronavirus cases in Trinidad, with many cases being unknowing members of the public. Apparently, there is evidence of extensive social spreading within the public and many people may have it unknowingly at this time.

Tension grows within the authorities as they know that the country is NOT EQUIPPED to handle this level of outbreak of the virus within the country!

Is it worth noting that the total number of CONFIRMED cases within the country now stands at 172 as of May 4th 2020

Areas of affected personnel include Arima, Port of Spain, Chaguanas, Couva, Siparia, Debe, Princes Town, Mayaro, Valencia

60 people were tested on May 1st-3rd 2020, and 56 of these cases tested positive. Out of these 56, 41 individuals were amongst the public during the incubation period and may have potentially spread it among the people they associated with.

Please practise EXTREME CAUTION when associating with people in public and practise all proper social distancing procedures. Always wear your mask when outdoors and it is advised that CLOTH MASK ARE NOT EFFECTIVE and you should only use specially designed masks such as the K95 etc.

This is all being hidden from the public by the relevant authorities at the time but will become public as soon as the relevant media houses of the country gets the information.

Finally, it's at the point where we must mention that this entire article is a prank and there isn't any new outbreak in Trinidad, but rather substantial improvements and many recoveries.

So as we continue fighting this pandemic on a global scale, please practise extreme caution and consideration towards everyone in these hard times and let's not take this virus for granted a anymore. The global cases have exceeded 3 million and is still growing, regardless of it being at a slower rate.

The worst should be behind us, let's do our best to eradicate this virus properly and then work together, as we should, to rebuild the economy. Don't forget to help those in need whenever and wherever you can.
