Following a football game last Saturday night, a neighboring gas leak resulted in a huge explosion next to the campus. The fire spread, covering nearly half of UK's central campus. This tragedy resulted in the death of twelve college students and hundreds of injuries. Authorities were able to put out the fire at around 1 am, but the damage was extensive.
